One of the biggest myths in martial arts is that you have to start young. You do not!! Here at Koryo Do Martial Arts, we like to encourage everyone that walks through our doors to believe that they are more than their limitations! Which is why we offer a variety of beginner classes to not only children, but to teens, adults, and yes, even to our seniors because it’s never too late to join Martial Arts! Because at Koryo Do, we know that age is just a number. Limits should never define us. And aspirations are meant to be nurtured and met with drive and determination!
Tae Kwon Do isn’t just about kicking and punching. Or the belts and medals. It’s about you and your journey. It may not be what you initially think would happen. For some, martial arts is a moment in time that never truly leaves them… for others, it becomes a lifestyle they never want to give up on, but in these initial moments of hesitation and self-doubt, just remember that nothing is ever easy at first, but a journey never starts if you don’t make the first move yourself.
So, whatever your story is – whatever doubts you harbor – let us show you why at our school, we’re not just students with a singular goal… we’re the chosen family here to support you and your belief that you can do anything you set your mind to.
